Golf simulator businesses carry expensive, portable gear: launch monitors, projectors, impact screens, enclosures, hitting mats and computers. Whether the business is an indoor golf lounge or a mobile simulator that travels to events, the property question is the same: where is the equipment when something happens, and which coverage follows it there?
Two points cause most of the confusion. A "mobile business personal property" extension is not the same thing as an inland marine floater, and inland marine forms often carry theft conditions and exclusions that matter a lot for gear that rides in a vehicle or trailer.
The short version for the client
Business personal property is built for things that stay at your location. Inland marine is built for things that move. If your simulator travels, ask which one you have, and read the theft section before you rely on it.
