This summary is for orientation only — the sections below are what actually applies.
This policy explains what InsuranceAgentForms.com ("we", "us") collects when you visit insuranceagentforms.com or use the service, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
1. The important one: your clients' data
This service gives you wording to send. It is not a place to store client files.
- The details you type into a template — client names, premiums, limits, addresses — are substituted in your browser and are never transmitted to us. We cannot read them, and they are not in any database of ours.
- Your Personalize details (agency name, your name, phone, email) are saved to your browser's local storage, and to your profile if you are signed in, so you do not retype them.
- We are not a carrier, MGA or licensed producer, and we never receive applications or policy data.
2. What we collect
- Account information — your email address, a securely hashed password, and optionally your name, agency name and phone number.
- Billing information — handled by Stripe. We receive a subscription status and the last four digits of a card; we never receive or store full card numbers.
- Usage information — pages viewed, searches run and templates copied, so we know what to write next. A search that returns nothing is how we learn what is missing.
- Email engagement — whether our emails were opened and which links were clicked.
- Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, collected automatically by our host and analytics.
- Anything you send us — support messages and template requests.
3. How we use it
- To create and run your account, and to let your whole agency sign in.
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To send transactional email — password resets, receipts, account notices. These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you hold an account.
- To send updates about new templates and scripts, if you asked for them. Every one has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To decide what content to write next, from aggregate usage.
- To detect abuse and keep the service secure.
4. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with insurance agents, carriers, lead buyers or any other third party for their own marketing. There is no arrangement of that kind and there never has been.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
These providers handle data so we can run the service. Each is bound to use it only for that purpose.
- Supabase — Account hosting and authentication (email address, password hash, profile details).
- Stripe — Payment processing. Card details go to Stripe directly — we never receive or store them.
- Vercel — Website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics.
- Google Analytics 4 — Usage analytics. Sets cookies and processes a truncated IP address.
- Sendy (self-hosted) with Amazon SES — Sending our email updates, and recording opens and clicks on them.
- SMTP2GO — Sending transactional email such as password resets and receipts.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property. If the business is ever sold or merged, account information would transfer with it, and this policy would continue to apply until you were told otherwise.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use two analytics tools. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track you between sites. Google Analytics 4 does set cookies and processes a truncated IP address, so we can see which pages and channels bring people here.
We also use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries that the site needs to work at all — keeping you signed in, remembering your Personalize details, your chosen line of business, and whether you have seen the template disclaimer. Blocking cookies in your browser will stop the analytics; it will also stop sign-in from working.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google's browser add-on. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no agreed standard for it.
7. How long we keep it
- Account data — while your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax and dispute records.
- Billing records — as long as tax law requires.
- Mailing list — until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing keeps a record of the address so we do not email it again by mistake.
- Analytics — on the retention schedule set in each tool.
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are not readable by us. Card details never reach our servers. Paid content is filtered on the server before it is sent to the browser, so it cannot be recovered from page source. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Email team@insuranceagentforms.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows. We may need to verify who you are first.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link at the foot of any of our emails, or by emailing us. Account and billing notices will continue while your account exists.
10. Children
This is a tool for licensed insurance professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Other sites
We link to third-party sites and, in places, to partner services. Once you leave insuranceagentforms.com this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced by email or on the site before they take effect.
